Foondiert® products are produced in Germany using pharmaceutical manufacturing processes that are tested by third parties and ISO9001:2015 and after HACCP and GMP are certified.
DIN EN ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Certification according to ISO 9001:2015 shows that a manufacturer is continuously committed to quality and meets specified requirements. ISO 9001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is made up of the national standardization bodies of more than 160 countries.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification is an international standard that defines the requirements for effective food safety control. HACCP audits address food safety and hygiene through the analysis and control of biological, chemical and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling to the manufacture, distribution and consumption of the final product.
Good Manufacturing Practice ensures that products are manufactured and controlled based on strict quality standards that ensure that raw materials, food and packaging are handled safely and processed in an appropriate environment. It is a system designed to minimize the risks in pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated by testing the final product. GMP covers all aspects of production such as the procurement and handling of raw materials, but also standards relating to the site, equipment and training of personnel. A manufacturer must have systems that provide documented evidence that the correct procedures are followed at every step in the manufacturing process.
