Sustainability is built into every aspect of Foondiert® packaging. Capsules and oral sprays are stored in MIRON® Violetglass which can be recycled, refilled or repurposed. The boxes are made of paper that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Our refill pouches are made from a mono-polymer that protects its contents from humidity and UV rays and is certified “Made for Recycling”. The unique Foondiert® labelling system means that the Best Before Date and Lot Number from each refill pouch can be removed and affixed onto the MIRON® Violetglass.
MIRON® Violetglass is made in the Netherlands and Germany. Its signature violet colour stems from a patented mix of mineral oxides and silica, which is commonly found in nature as quartz and is a central component of sand.
MIRON® Violetglass is a biophotonic glass that shields natural products from the damaging effects of light, protecting their potency and increasing their shelf life. You can recycle the Miron® Violetglass that holds our Foondiert® products, refill it with capsules from our refill pouches or repurpose it. The glass is ideal for storing products with a high level of biophotons such as tea, herbs, homoeopathic remedies, natural cosmetics, essential oils, honey, olive oil and superfoods such as raw cacao beans and goji berries.
The field of biophotonics studies the general interaction of light with biological systems. Sunlight can have a deteriorating effect on natural products and accelerate their molecular decay. Miron® Violetglass is particularly good at preventing the escape of biophotons.

The Miron® Violetglass is packaged in boxes that are made exclusively of paper that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
The FSC seal is your assurance that the paper used is made with forest-based materials from FSC-certified forests or reclaimed sources. FSC certified forests must be managed in an environmentally appropriate and socially responsible way. The FSC system also includes a certified chain of custody that tracks materials and products through every stage from the forest or point of reclamation to where it is finished and labelled.
Our 100% recyclable refill pouches are made from a mono-polymer that protects their contents from humidity and UV rays and is certified “Made for Recycling”. In contrast to multi-material polymers such as PET or PE, it is not burned to produce energy. Moreover, the pouches undergo a thermal lamination process that allows for an air-tight closure without using solvents and adhesives that harm the environment. In Germany, you can put the pouches in any yellow recycling bin.
